Our Church Family: Congratulations to Bruce & Wilma Glenn as they celebrate their 30th Anniversary on Tuesday.

Voting will take place at the end of the morning worship service today for elders and deacon. See the ballot in today’s bulletin. Additional ballots will be made available when voting takes place. Only members are eligible to vote.

This Morning the offering is for Operation Manna which helps CRC churches across Canada establish important and impactful local ministries.

This Evening we will continue with the Life of Jesus video series with session two, featuring historian John Dickson with Ravi Zacharias Ministries.

Next Sunday Evening we hope to celebrate together the Lord’s Supper. Let us prepare our hearts accordingly.

Light Blue Section “Meet and Greet” Today: Please note that if you sit in the Light Blue section, your “Meet and Greet” is TODAY. Please come join with your Section Leaders, Joe & Niesje Bouma, to enjoy a time of refreshments and connection…from noon till 1pm in the Youth Hall.

Wedding Banns: Colten Lasher & Adrianna Noble have indicated their desire to be married in the Lord, Saturday, May 20 at 10am in an intimate ceremony in Picton. Unless there are valid objections the ceremony will take place at that time. D.V. Pastor John Visser be officiating. Adrianna & Colten welcome the congregation’s love, support and prayers.

Spring Congregational Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 9 at 7:30pm in the Chapel to present 2016 financial statements. Information packages are in mailboxes or at the Information Desk for those who don’t have a mailbox.

The Case for Christ Movie is being shown at Centre Theatre in Trenton until Thursday, May 11. It plays every evening at 6:55, with matinees on Sunday at 1 & 3:15pm.

Jr & Sr High Youth are at Circle Square Ranch this weekend. Thanks for your support for them. They will be returning this afternoon at 3pm.

Fundraiser: We will be raising money for the Africa Famine, for the people that don’t have food and are going to starve if they don’t get food. The money will be donated to World Renew. We have a goal to raise $1100 by the end of May. If you would like to support us we will have apple crisps and chocolate bars available for those who can donate. See you there! Maranatha Seniors: Thursday, May 11 is our last meeting of the season. We will start at 1:30pm. Our special guest is Pastor John, he is going to reminisce about happy times at Maranatha in his 32 years here. After the coffee break we will have a shuffle board competition. Everyone welcome! Friendship Circle: On Monday, May 15, we will be having our year-end BBQ, starting at 6:30pm and ending at 8:30pm.

Community Gardens: It is that time of year to start planting your vegetable gardens. If you had a garden plot in the past and would like one again, or if you are just beginning with one you must give your name to Gilbert Huizinga (613-966-2739) or Andre Koopmans (613-967-6412) by May 1. The price this year for each plot is $15.

Ball Hockey at Maranatha! Saturday mornings from 8am-9am, starting May 6. Bring your stick and come for some good ‘ol fashion fun. Men and women, boys and girls are welcome.
