Our Church Family: Eleanor Wielemaker goes in for hip replacement surgery on Wednesday, May 17. Please keep her and the surgeons in your prayers.

This Evening we will continue with the Life of Jesus video series with session three, featuring historian John Dickson with Ravi Zacharias Ministries.

Tonight we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion. All who have publicly confessed the Lord Jesus Christ and are seeking to live out that commitment in repentance and faith are warmly invited to join in our celebration.

Council Election Results: Last week, Arend Wiarda, Joe Bouma were elected as elders and Sharon DeVries was elected as deacon. Installation will take place at a later date. Council is grateful to everyone who allowed their name to stand for the election.

Baby Bottles for the Belleville Pregnancy & Family Care Centre Fundraiser are available at a table in the foyer. Please return your bottles to the Information Desk, or the office during the week. Bottles must be back by Father’s Day, Sunday, June 18.

Wedding Banns: Colten Lasher & Adriana Noble have indicated their desire to be married in the Lord, Saturday, May 20 at 10am in an intimate ceremony in Picton. Unless there are valid objections the ceremony will take place at that time. D.V. Pastor John Visser be officiating. Adriana & Colten welcome the congregation’s love, support and prayers.

Grief Share: If you feel called to minister to those who are grieving please consider joining the Grief Share Team. We are in need of a couple of leaders who would be available for the Wednesday morning group. Training is available. Please call Mary at 613-962-8220 as soon as possible if you would like to be considered to be part of this much needed ministry.

Fundraiser: We will be raising money for the Africa Famine, for the people that don’t have food and are going to starve if they don’t get food. The money will be donated to World Renew. We have a goal to raise $1100 by the end of May. If you would like to support us we will have apple crisps and chocolate bars available for those who can donate. See you there! Community Gardens: It is that time of year to start planting your vegetable gardens. If you had a garden plot in the past and would like one again, or if you are just beginning with one you must give your name to Gilbert Huizinga (613-966-2739) or Andre Koopmans (613-967-6412). The price this year for each plot is $15. Money must be given to Gilbert or Andre by Sunday, May 21. There are two plots left.
