Prayer Night: We have been praying together for Maranatha on the last Wednesday of the month. Next meeting is planned for this Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 7:30pm in the Youth Hall.

Choir: A choir is being formed for the Christmas Eve Candlelight service. There will be four Wednesday practices, starting Nov. 29, at 7pm in the chapel. Christmas Food Baskets: Every year the Benevolence Team provides food baskets to families or single individuals who are struggling in the holiday season. You can help support this ministry by donating the cost of one or more baskets. Cost is $110 for a family basket or $90 for a single basket. For more information and a form to fill out please see the insert in the bulletin.
Amaryllis Bulbs: Rhea Van Breda is selling Amaryllis Bulbs as a fundraiser for the Huntington Society of Canada for $15 each. They come as a complete kit with a pot and soil, and are gift boxed so they make great presents. If you wish to purchase one or several, please contact Rhea at 613-962-4727. Thank you!
Surviving The Holidays: The holidays can be a very difficult and painful time if you are grieving the loss of a loved one. GriefShare’s, “Surviving The Holidays” can be a great benefit to you. This two-hour seminar and discussion is filled with helpful suggestions as well as wise and caring counsel by our facilitators to help you go through this challenging time. This will be held here at Maranatha on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 2pm. There is a $5 fee for the workbook. There are only 30 spots available. Please note, there is no nursery! Friendship Christmas Pageant: The congregation is invited to join the Friendship Circle Group in the celebration of Jesus’ birthday, Monday, Dec. 11 at 7pm in the main auditorium.

Dinner Theatre: On Saturday, Feb. 10, Maranatha Marriage Ministry will be hosting a dinner theater and presenting the captivating musical “Moses”, filmed before a live audience at the world renown Sight & Sound Theatre. Tickets are $20 each and will be available after the service, or at the church office beginning next week. They make great Christmas gifts. All adults are welcome.

The Drama Ministries of the church are in need of child-sized bathrobes, fitting children ages 8-15. If you have any such robes that you would be willing to donate or to loan, please drop them off at the church office asap, Tuesdays – Fridays, 9 am – 5 pm. If you wish to have the robes returned to you after the Christmas season, please label with your name. Thank you.
