Our Church Family: Congratulations to Lucy Steiginga as she celebrates her 82nd birthday tomorrow, also to Corrie Jongenotter as she celebrates her 85th birthday on Thursday, and to Shirley Smit as she celebrates her 82nd birthday on Saturday. Tests this week shows that Peter Koekman’s tumour is very treatable with chemotherapy and he will not require surgery. Peter & Anna want to thank everyone for their prayers. Michael and Marianne Botting are grateful for prayers and support after their house was destroyed by fire in Uganda. They have found another place to live and hope to move in on Monday or Tuesday.

This Morning we welcome Pastor Gregg Lawson from  Bethany CRC, Bloomfield by way of classical appointment.

Next Sunday Morning we hope to celebrate the Lord’s Supper together. Let us prepare our hearts accordingly.

Kids Up is leading the Palm Sunday evening service (March 25) In preparation, every Sunday please have your child meet us in the chapel (9:55-10) for extra practice time instead of waiting to be dismissed later in the service.

Dinner Theatre: On Saturday, Feb. 10, Maranatha Marriage Ministry will be hosting a dinner theater and presenting the captivating musical “Moses”, filmed before a live audience at the world renowned Sight & Sound Theatre. Tickets are $20 each and are available after the service, or at the church office during the week. All adults are welcome.

Maranatha Midweek: The new season of Maranatha Midweek begins on Thursday, Feb. 8. Please check out the brochure in the bulletin and register for the course of your choice. If you have questions or concerns call Valerie at 613-962-2062 ext. 215.

Maranatha Seniors: On Feb. 8 we will have our annual Valentine’s Day pot luck lunch. Bring your favourite dish or dessert, as well as your own dishes and cutlery. Please try to wear something red. The lunch will start at 12:30 instead of 12. We will play games after lunch so bring your favourite board game along as well. Hope to see you there!

Midweek Help Needed: We have a large registration and need help to make it happen. If you are able to help set up tables each Thursday afternoon, for about an hour please connect with Valerie as soon as possible or call and leave a message at 613-962-2062 ext.215.

Free DVDs!! The Resource Desk is reorganizing and there are a number of dvds of past services that are available at no cost. There is a table set up beside the Resource Desk and we invite you to come and browse through them and help yourselves to those that we have made available.

Help Needed: Someone is needed to wash the aprons, dishcloths and tea towels from the kitchen each week. If you are interested in helping this way please talk to Erika Palen 613-961-7155.

Prayer Cards: There are prayer cards available at the Information Desk from Kathy VanderKloet who is a missionary in Nigeria that we support. Please place this card on your refrigerator, bible or any place that will remind you to keep Kathy in your prayers.

Ride Needed: If anyone is willing to pick up Elsie Walker from Hastings Manor once every five weeks to bring her to church and back home, call Sue Wiarda 613-967-3827.

Spirit Borne Performing Arts will be performing their 2017-18 show entitled, “Out of The Darkness”. They will be performing Feb. 10 at Trenton Wesleyan Church, Feb. 11 at Roblin Wesleyan Church, Feb. 24 at Fellowship CRC in Brighton, and Feb. 25 here at Maranatha. All shows are at 7pm, and will include a freewill offering.
