Coffee Teams: Your assistance is greatly appreciated and required by our coffee team! If you have the gift of serving, or even if you don't, but you are able to help us out with the coffee ministry team, please let us know. We are hoping to have an 8 week rotation, but it will depend on how many persons would offer their services, for setting up the morning coffee, clean up and dishwasher services, as well as serve the coffee. We would love it if you would also be able to bake for the church community, once in a while. Ann Jansen, or Judy Edgar would love to hear from you. Contacting the front office would also be an option. Thanks, in advance!

GriefShare: Grieving the death of a loved one can be a very daunting and painful experience. We would like to be there for you if you are going through this and feeling the need for support. This 13 session program consists of * excellent videos featuring experienced grief counsellors and people sharing experiences of their grief journey. These help us understand that grieving is normal, is different for everyone and provide input on how to handle grief in a healthy way, * discussion times where everyone has an opportunity to share, led by experienced, caring facilitators; and * a workbook to use at home to help us draw near to God as we look at the different aspects of our grief journey. Space is limited so we will be running two groups per week. A morning group will begin on Monday Sept. 12, 10-12 noon and an evening group will begin on Thursday Sept. 15, 7-9 pm.  If we do not get sufficient registrations for an evening group we may have a second morning group. This would be on Thursday morning from 10 – 12 noon starting Sept. 15. Registrations will be accepted until we reach our maximum capacity. For more information and to register, contact Nancy at the Maranatha church office: 613-962-2062, info@maranatha-church.com, or Darrel Brown (613-922-5622 , darrel56brown@gmail.com

Urgent Need for Additional facilitators for GriefShare (male and female): We hope to begin another cycle of GriefShare again in September but need to increase the number of facilitators on our team at this time. If you have experienced the loss of a loved one and the Lord has helped you to come to a place of healing from your grief perhaps you have a desire to help others navigate their own grief journey. If so, becoming a GriefShare facilitator may be for you. Training videos will help you to be prepared and other facilitators will be there to assist you as well. We are in need of both younger and older, male and female facilitators at this time. We especially need a male leader for the Thursday evening group for this next cycle. Others who sign up would be assisting in either one according to your availability. GriefShare is not only for members of our own congregation but is also an outreach to the greater Belleville and area community. Many participants have found comfort, encouragement and healing through this program already. Would you pray about getting involved? Please call Mary Kaldeway at 613-962-8220 or speak to me at church for more information or if you feel this may be something the Lord is nudging you to do.
