Thank You so much for all the cards, phone calls, messages, meals, goodies and more but most of all for your prayers and thoughts. Hazel loved the Servant Song "brother, sister let me be your servant let me be as Christ to you". We sincerely and gladly felt that you were being "as Christ" to us. Thank you! Hazel was able to be home for the last six weeks of her journey on earth. This was a real blessing to our family especially the children and the granddaughters and to the two of us. It was a wonderful time to say goodbye and see you later. It is so good to be part of God's family. During this time I was also diagnosed with a growth on my colon. This week I got favorable results from testing. The mass is precancerous and plans are in place to remove it on June 24th. I am in God's perfect hands (we all are) and I trust Him to carry me through. Thank you again and God bless you all. Jake Vandervelde and family
