Our Church Family: Condolences to Mark & Christina McIntosh on the passing of Christina’s father this past week. Congratulations to Bev Nethercott as she celebrates her 91st birthday on Wednesday, congratulations also to George & Connie Luyt as they celebrate their 64th Anniversary on Monday. Please remember Melissa Roy as she has surgery on May 4 and Glenda Crawford who goes for open heart surgery on May 12. Please continue to pray for Haz.el VanderVelde and family, and for Henry Huizinga who remains at BGH but is getting weaker.

This Morning we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion. All who have publicly confessed the Lord Jesus Christ and are seeking to live out that commitment in repentance and faith are warmly invited to join in our celebration.

The Library is opening today after the service. There is something for everyone: Books, DVD’s, novels, audio books, and VHS movies. Come check it out!

The Belleville Pregnancy and Family Care Centre is starting the Baby Bottle Drive on Mother’s Day (May 8) and running through until Father’s Day (June 19). This is a great opportunity to support the work of the Centre helping them to compassionately care for clients facing issues related to unplanned pregnancies, post abortion stress, and sexual health as well as providing educational programs and material assistance. We encourage you to pick up a bottle and fill it with change, cash or a cheque and return it to by Father’s Day. Thank you for your support.

Looking For Someone to place giving envelopes into the pockets of chairs in the auditorium. If you are interested, please contact Nancy in the office.

Our Church Council will welcome our church visitors from Classis at their next meeting on May 4. The church visitors consist of a pastor and elder appointed by our classis, who come to encourage us and to inquire about our church’s health.

Women’s Conference: On Fri., June 3 from 6:30-9:30pm and Sat., June 4 from 9am-4pm, we will be hosting an in-person women’s conference featuring video sessions from the IF: Gathering 2022. Cost is $19 to register (Sat. lunch is extra or bring your own). It’s open to ladies from other churches, so mark your calendars, invite your friends, and stay tuned for more details and how to register next week!

Wedding Banns: Emily Bouma & Gabriel McKay have indicated their desire to be married in the Lord, Saturday, May 14 at 3pm at Neil & Elaine’s property. Unless there are valid objections, the ceremony will take place at that time, D.V. Pastor Tom Baird will be officiating.

Looking For: We are in need of a couple of drivers who can commit to driving once a month for one of our members receiving dialysis treatment at the local clinic on College Street East. Please call Rennie VanderWal at 613-403-7781 for particulars if you would be available.

Maranatha Seniors: Our first meeting in two years is planned for Thursday, May 12 at 2pm (note the new time). Our special guest speaker is Dave Botting. Come out and enjoy a time of fellowship and of course coffee and cookies.

Attention Parents: Starting this morning until the end of August, kids will be joining their parents in the service for worship, then be dismissed to the chapel for their kids up time. Children can be picked up in their assigned classrooms. Thanks, Ms. Shelley.

Post Service Prayer: Prayer teams are available after morning services for anyone who would like prayer or to respond to what God has been speaking to them. Meet in front of the stage on the keyboard side after the service and the prayer team will lead you to a classroom to pray. Medical Team Alert!! Are you a Doctor, Nurse, Paramedic or other Health Professional and would like to join our Medical Team? If you are not a Medical professional but still interested, you need to be Age 13 plus. The Team will be trained in CPR /AED, and will be responsible to create/update any health policies to be presented to Maranatha Council. Please respond no later than May 1, 2022. by emailing

Flower Gardens: Our church gardens are a beautiful asset - already we are enjoying the spring daffodils at the front of the church! But many of our current gardeners have been retiring and we need new people to help maintain the gardens. We’re looking for people who love plants and flowers - experience isn’t necessary! Thrift Store: All blue stickers/tags are $1. In 4 weeks, the store will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary and is looking for people who are willing to donate to our silent auction. For all you sewers, if you have spare fabric, we are looking for some. Also in need of good quality children's shoes, boots and clothing, sizes 2-16.
