Our Church Family:

The last few weeks Gerrit Tammel has been dealing with increasing muscle and joint pain that has affected his ability to walk. A cause has not been found. In July, a small bump was found on his head that turned out to be a very rare form of skin cancer, which has been removed 3 times since. The doctors do not see a connection between the two health issues. He asks that people refrain from visiting for the time being.

Aaltje Yntema asks for prayer concerning her daughter-in-law, Gail, who was recently diagnosed with aggressive cancer.

Robert Guppy was admitted to BGH to undergo a bladder operation. His kidneys were not functioning properly either, and his iron levels were very low. He is doing better, but Alzheimer’s disease is causing problems too. The family is looking for an extended care facility for him for when he is released from the hospital.

Matilda Wiarda’s heart surgery was postponed yet again. The constant postponements are wearing for Matilda. Please keep her in your prayers.

Catherine Stoter continues to stay in BGH as she awaits a placement in a long-term care facility. Please pray for her and her husband, Frank.

Please continue to hold Laurie Wood, Glen Arendt, Marten VanderWal, Eve Kugel, Andy Jongenotter, Rick Foulds, and our shut-ins in your prayers as well.

Nancy Koopmans is on a personal leave of absence. She is expected to return to work in about 11 weeks. Leyla Moore is serving as our Administrative Assistant in the interim.

Bill Deboer is celebrating his 84th birthday on Wednesday, Nov. 2nd.
