Family Prayer Group:  Pray with others for your loved ones and family members every Thursday morning from 7-8 am. In the chapel

Our Church Family: Congratulations to Gilbert and Helen Huizinga who celebrate their 51st anniversary today. We also celebrate the following birthdays: John Vos turns 85 today, Joe Shields turns 86 on Tuesday, Owen DeVries turns 83 on Wednesday and Wilhelmina Tammel turns 82 on Friday. Catherine Stoter has returned back to BGH (Sills Wing Rm #305)  She is responding well and is allowed visitors (one at a time).Please keep Laurie Wood in prayer as she walks through a bout of health concerns..Please remember Lucy Steiginga, Glen Arendt, Marten VanderWal, Eve Kugel, Andy Jongenotter, and Rick Foulds in your prayers and our shut ins.

New Address:  Pam and Bruce Dawson will be moving to Kemptville at the end of September.  Their last day at Maranatha will be today Their new address will be: 13 Rachelle Cr. Oxford Stn, ON K0G 1T0   Pam wishes to say that she will miss her Maranatha Family very much.  It has been a blessing being part of this community.  Hank VanStraten has moved—new address is Arabella Retirement  Living 24 Dundas St. W. Offerings: Each week we hold an offering for a cause and for budget. This week the offering is for Quinte Youth for Christ (Youth Unlimited):  next Sunday, September 25 the offering will be for Pregnancy and Family Care Centre.

 Bulletin Announcements:  All items for the bulletin must be in the office by noon on Thursdays to be included in the bulletin.

4 Keys to Hearing God’s Voice:  Starts this Thursdays at 7 pm n the Chapel for a practical 10 wee teaching series on how to recognize the voice of God within your heart clearly and consistently.  Cost is $5  for the workbook, full book is optional for $15.  Contact Deborah Morgante at Deborah@maranatha-church.com for more info or to register. 

Coffee Teams: If you would like to join a coffee team on an 8 week rotation please contact the church office.  We are also looking for bakers for our Sunday morning treats.

GriefShare: The 13-session program consists of videos featuring experienced grief counsellors and people sharing their grief journeys, a workbook and time for discussion and sharing. We will be running two groups a week on Monday mornings from 10-12 and Thursday evenings from 7-9pm. Ushers/Greeters: Since Covid started we have had the back doors closed for safety reasons.  We have since reopened them but the front door team are looking for 8 people or couples to greet people as they come in.  We are looking for a commitment of once every 4 weeks on a  rotation basis.  The hours are from 9:15 to the start of the service.  We are also looking for a few more ushers. Young Adults: We invite you to join us this Tuesday, Sept. 20 in the youth hall as we gather to share a meal and spend some time worshipping our great God!  Dinner will begin at 6:30 and worship starts at 7:00. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to Adam at adam@maranatha-church.com. We hope to see you there!

Worship Night: Join us tonight for worship in the chapel from 7-8 pm.  We will spend time worshipping the Lord together and making space to hear from Him and from one another.

 Hymn Sing:  “Maranatha Sings” will be Sunday September 25 at 2 pm in the chapel.  Join us for a traditional style hymn sing.  Come with your family young and older alike.  Let’s lift our voices in songs the church has been singing for generations!

Thrift Store: All blue stickers/tags are $1 each this week. Saturday they are FREE! If you’re in need of anything for Thanksgiving decorations/dishes please check out our store first. Help support the Belleville Christian School. For more information call the store 613-967-1371.

Belleville Pregnancy & Family Care  Centre invite you to their Fall Fundraiser being held at Maranatha on Sat. Oct. 1 from 5:30-9 PM.  The meal will be catered by Barn & Country.  Tickets are $25.00 per person.  For tickets or more info visit www.bpfcc.ca/events

Drop-In Prayer: Mid-day prayer groups have resumed every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30am-1:30pm. All are welcome! Drop in with a personal prayer request and/or join in prayer and worship with others to seek God’s face, intercede for our church, and hear what He is saying in our own lives. Nothing unites God’s people like praying together! Women’s Life Season Kick-off: Come join us this Sat. Sept. 24 from 9-11:30 am in the Fellowship Hall to launch a new season of Women’s ministry.
